About Hamtramck Rentals Julie Zielinski and Kathy Zielinski own Hamtramck Rentals. We are sisters who bought our first multi-unit almost twenty years ago. Hamtramck is a special place to us. Our parents lived here when they were growing up; they went to St. Florian’s and kept connected to our Polish heritage. We were born in Hamtramck and have a real fondness for the city and its diversity. We have attended the Strawberry Festival for many years and always enjoy the spirit and warmth of the city. When we decided to own and rent homes, Hamtramck was the obvious location—it’s easy to access from all parts of the greater metropolitan area and people live here for a fraction of what it costs in comparative suburban areas.
